Acquiring New Land at Avissawella
The purchase of 7.5 acres of land adjoining to the Avissawella Wewathenna Estate was made to CPE on 14th January 2021. Deputy Chairman Engineer Shiromal Fernando, Managing Director, General Manager and others participated in this event. Accordingly, we are pleased to announce that CPE has been able to expand the total land area of the Avissawella Estate to 30 acres and we look forward to further expanding our estates in future.
First Year Anniversary of CPE Estates at Awissawela.
CPE Holdings (Pvt) Ltd was in cooperated in the month of May 2018 with the vision of engaging Engineering in agriculture. Putting the companies vision statement in to practice CPE Estates was formed in 03 rd Septemeber 2019 .
CPE Estates first year anniversary celebrations were setoff with religious observances. The event was graced by Eng. W.J.B. Shiromal Fernando as the chief guest followed by the Board of management. The participants took part in a signatory tree planting session expressing the company’s mission values and commitment towards mother nature.
Gifts were distributed among the estate workers and their children. Renovated staff house was declared open by the chief guest at the end of the program.
CSR Activities
The book donation ceremony for the children of the staff of the Wewathenna Estate, which is held every year, was successfully held once again with the participation of the Deputy Chairman, Managing Director, General Manager and others. The main objective of this is to promote the welfare of the children of the employees and to motivate the employees at the estate.
